About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is hiring Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) for one-on-one, in-home care cases throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut, including Stamford, New Canaan, and Fairfield. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while supporting their dignity and quality of life. The role offers per diem scheduling and day shifts; overnight shifts are also available. The posting lists pay of $20 per hour, weekly pay by direct deposit, a sign-on bonus, referral bonus opportunities, fast onboarding, and rapid case placement.

Requirements

• At least one year of CNA, HHA, or home care experience.
• Valid Connecticut CNA license or qualifying HHA/CNA certificate.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months.
• PPD or QuantiFERON test completed within the past 12 months, or chest X-ray within the past five years.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, as appropriate to the care plan and qualifications.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.
• Support clients' independence, dignity, and quality of life through compassionate home care.
