About The Position

Focused Post Acute Care Partners is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting their independence and dignity. The role supports resident safety and comfort in a long-term care setting and includes personal care, mobility assistance, responding to call lights, and electronic medical record charting. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas.
Good standing on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry.
Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
Ability to safely push, pull, lift, bend, kneel, and reach, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

Ensure resident safety.
Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress, and provide nail care for assigned residents.
Follow the resident assignment schedule prepared by the charge nurse.
Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
Answer call lights in a timely manner.
Assist residents with eating or feed them.
Keep residents clean and dry, including providing toileting or incontinence care.
Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
Use electronic medical records for charting, including PointClickCare.
Perform other duties as assigned.
