About The Position

Focused Post Acute Care Partners is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting their independence and dignity. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas.
• Good standing on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
• Ability to safely push, pull, lift, bend, kneel, and reach, and to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress, and provide nail care for assigned residents.
• Follow the resident assignment schedule prepared by the charge nurse.
• Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
• Answer call lights in a timely manner.
• Assist residents with eating or feed them.
• Keep residents clean and dry, including providing toileting or incontinent care.
• Provide residents with supportive, protective, and safe environments.
• Use electronic medical records for charting, including PointClickCare.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
