About The Position

Focused Post Acute Care Partners is hiring a Housekeeper at Focused Care at Pasadena in Pasadena, Texas. The position performs scheduled housekeeping tasks assigned by the housekeeping supervisor to maintain clean and sanitary residences, facilities, furnishings, and equipment. Duties may include mopping, sweeping, dusting, washing windows, shampooing and vacuuming carpets, arranging furniture, and cleaning furniture, equipment, fixtures, and hardware. The role also includes handling community and resident laundry and preparing vacated residences for occupancy.

Requirements

• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English with residents, families, guests, and other associates.
• Work safely with cleaning chemicals and tolerate exposure to chemical fumes, dust, and pet dander.
• Safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize residences and their contents, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning kitchen and bathroom fixtures, turning mattresses, moving light furniture, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Clean resident apartments, offices, bathrooms, and other common areas in the community.
• Assist with cleaning and refurbishing vacated residences.
• Wash, dry, fold, and store community and resident linens and other laundry.
• Coordinate the delivery and return of resident laundry.
• Keep housekeeping carts clean and organized.
• Keep carts stocked with appropriate cleaning supplies in OSHA-approved containers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
