About The Position

Focused Post Acute Care Partners is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting their independence and dignity. The role is based at Focused Care at Webster in Webster, Texas. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas.
Good standing on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry.
Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
Ability to safely push, pull, lift, bend, kneel, and reach, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

Help ensure resident safety.
Assist assigned residents with bathing, showering, shampooing, shaving, hair care, dressing, and nail care.
Follow the resident assignment schedule prepared by the charge nurse.
Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
Answer call lights in a timely manner.
Assist residents with eating or feed them.
Keep residents clean and dry, including providing toileting and incontinence care.
Provide residents with supportive, protective, and safe environments.
Use electronic medical records for charting, including PointClickCare.
Perform other duties as assigned.
