About The Position

UofL Health – Frazier Rehabilitation Institute is hiring a full-time Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for its inpatient rehabilitation facility in Louisville, Kentucky. The role is scheduled for three 12-hour day shifts. The CNA supports nursing staff in delivering patient-centered rehabilitation care and helps patients with activities of daily living, while contributing to a safe, comfortable environment and coordinating with the care team. More complex clinical tasks are performed under the supervision and direction of licensed nursing personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State Registered Nursing Assistant (SRNA) certification or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Handle with Care certification required within 30 days of hire and annually.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in providing patient-centered care.
• Help patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Provide emotional support and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients throughout rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure patients’ needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner.
• Perform more complex clinical tasks under the supervision and direction of licensed nursing personnel.
