About The Position
Weekend Option Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) opportunity at Glenbrook Rehab on the night shift. Certified Nursing Assistants help create a warm, supportive, homelike environment where residents’ well-being, dignity, respect, and individualized attention are prioritized. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, providing companionship and reassurance, and working with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate care. Requirements
- Hold a valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
- Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Have stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
- Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrate supportive presence, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
- Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike atmosphere that respects residents’ dignity and individual needs.
- Work with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
