Assisted Living-Certified Medication Aide (Nights $2 Shift Diff) -Cornerstone Retirement Community
About The Position
Cornerstone Retirement Community, affiliated with Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), provides assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services in Texarkana, Texas. The community is certified in the Eden Alternative Registry and is committed to person-directed care. The full-time Assisted Living Certified Medication Aide administers medications and treatments to residents safely and efficiently. The schedule is 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with a $2 shift differential. The aide is expected to model MRC’s ICARE values—Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence—and a service-oriented attitude. This includes taking ownership of problems, taking initiative to improve things, treating residents, families, and coworkers in a friendly and courteous manner, and demonstrating sincere compassion.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Texas Certified Medication Aide Assistant certification.
- A high school graduate or equivalent is desired.
