About The Position

Avesta Housing is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Resident Assistant/Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to provide essential services and daily support to residents in its Assisted Living Division at Inn at Village Square, an assisted living facility for older adults. The facility aims to provide high-quality services in a safe, secure, friendly, and nurturing home that supports residents’ independence, quality of life, personal dignity, and peace of mind for residents and their families.

The CRMA administers medications, assists with personal care, and helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment. The role collaborates with staff to observe and document resident needs, supports activities, and upholds confidentiality and resident rights. The position is per diem, non-exempt, and fully on-site at the assisted living facility in Gorham, Maine. It works evenings and weekends and pays $19.00–$23.00 per hour based on experience, plus any applicable shift differentials.

Requirements

• Experience working with older adults in a personal care environment.
• Current PSS and CRMA certification.
• Ability to meet facility and state immunization requirements.
• Thorough understanding of the aging process.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others and maintain a positive, team-player attitude.
• Commitment to quality services and treating residents with dignity and respect.
