The Role As our Certified Medical Assistant, you’ll be a key member of the care team, supporting efficient, patient-centered clinical operations. You’ll facilitate patient flow, perform clinical intake and routine testing, and support providers and nursing staff so every visit runs smoothly. Working within our Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model, you’ll help keep the clinic visit-ready so licensed staff can focus on assessment, care planning, and treatment.

Requirements

  • Medical Assistant certification or diploma required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Proficiency using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • At least 3 years of ambulatory/outpatient primary care experience.

Responsibilities

  • Room patients and complete clinical intake (vitals, history, medications, screenings)
  • Perform CLIA-waived tests and point-of-care diagnostics (EKG, urinalysis, glucose, pregnancy testing)
  • Collect and process lab specimens, including phlebotomy (if certified)
  • Administer vaccines/injections and assist providers during exams and procedures
  • Coordinate medication pickups with our in-house pharmacy and manage patient flow
  • Document accurately in the EMR and support quality/compliance metrics
