About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant supports clinical care at Primary Care Rutherford in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The role prepares treatment environments, conducts initial screenings, records vital signs and patient care information, processes orders for laboratory tests and imaging, manages front-of-house communications, and maintains medical supplies. The position is full-time, day schedule, with a stated preference for availability Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross credentials are accepted.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire or job transfer. Approved credentialing bodies include American Medical Technologists, National Healthcare Association, National Center for Competency Testing, National Association for Health Professionals, and American Association of Medical Assistants.
• High school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience is required. Required professional licensure or certification may be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• Must be willing to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
