About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports patient care at FryeCare Cardiology, serving as a link between patients and providers. The role requires a motivated and compassionate approach, a commitment to excellent care, efficiency, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities include identifying patient needs, providing care appropriate to the patient's condition and age, and documenting medical necessity accurately and promptly in the medical record. The practice provides care and resources for heart and vascular conditions, including testing, monitoring, therapies, and guidance on disease prevention through healthy lifestyle choices. The schedule is five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. The job location type is FryeCare Cardiology.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
CMA, RMA, or CCMA credential through AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
Commitment to delivering excellent care with efficiency and a positive attitude.
