About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at FryeCare Cardiology supports patients and providers by helping deliver efficient, compassionate care. The role includes identifying patient needs accurately, providing care appropriate to each patient’s condition and age, and documenting medical necessity in the medical record in a timely and appropriate manner. FryeCare Cardiology provides care, testing, monitoring, therapies, and resources for heart and vascular conditions, along with guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification through AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identify patient needs.

• Complete timely and appropriate medical-record documentation relating to medical necessity.
