About The Position
Family Practice Center is the largest group of physician-owned doctors’ office in Pennsylvania. With over 40 locations throughout Central Pa, we are always looking to hire talented individuals to join our team. We are currently seeing a dedicated and compassionate Part time Medical Assistant to join our team at our Shamokin Dam office. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Rooming Patients
- Assisting providers with various tasks
- Documentation and record-keeping
- Triages
- Phlebotomy
- Administering immunization and injections
- Conducting EKGs and other testing
- Answering the Phone
- Scheduling Appointments
- Checking in and checking out patients
- Collecting Co-pays
- Other duties as assigned
