About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of the Winchester Outpatient Behavioral Health office. The role supports providers and patients through clinical tasks, documentation, basic lab work, exam-room preparation, and front-office coordination. The team provides compassionate, patient-centered mental and behavioral health services in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required.
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical and administrative duties in support of the assigned area or office.
• Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records.
• Assist providers with exams and procedures, and with administering medications or injections.
• Perform basic lab tasks and prepare specimens.
• Maintain clean and stocked examination rooms.
• Support front-office and patient-care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education.
