About The Position

Sentara Medical Group is seeking to hire an individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant at Princess Anne. This position is located in Virginia Beach, VA and is a Full-time, Days position. The Standard Working Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (EST). The Medical Assistant will perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
1 year of clinical or administrative experience

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)
Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
