About The Position

Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and/or an Administrator. The role includes direct patient care, triage and rooming, patient safety, clerical duties, ongoing education, and completion of assigned goals. The Certified Medical Assistant must be certified by an approved accredited certification body or obtain certification within six months of hire, and must obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in standard English in written, oral, and verbal formats to achieve productivity and efficiency.
• Write legibly and record information accurately as needed to perform job duties.
• Complete an approved nursing or medical assistant course.
• Demonstrate computer literacy.
• Maintain certification.
• Be certified by an approved accredited certification body or obtain certification within six months of hire.
• Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy experience.
