About The Position

Grace Health is seeking Certified Medical Assistants to join its Family Practice department. The position starts at $19.60 per hour, with pay based on experience, and offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Employees can choose a schedule that fits their lifestyle and may earn up to three weeks of paid time off in their first year. Duties include gathering and documenting patient information, preparing rooms, assisting providers, administering ordered medications, communicating results and orders, and performing general office tasks.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program.
• Hold state certification as a CMA, CCMA, or RMA.

Nice To Haves

• Current BCLS certification.
• Experience in pediatric primary care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain accurate patient data.
• Document information in the medical record.
• Prepare exam rooms and procedure rooms.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Administer medications according to written orders.
• Provide educational materials to patients and families.
• Explain lab results, diagnostic testing results, and provider orders to patients and families.
• Assist with cleaning and stocking exam rooms and suites.
• Perform CLIA-waived testing.
• Perform general office duties as assigned.
