About The Position

Grace Health is seeking Certified Medical Assistants to join its Family Practice department. The role involves collecting and documenting patient information, preparing examination and procedure rooms, assisting providers during exams and procedures, administering medications under written orders, and supporting patient and family education. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program.
• Hold state certification as a CMA, CCMA, or RMA.

Nice To Haves

• Current BCLS certification.
• Experience in pediatric primary care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain accurate patient data.
• Document information in the medical record.
• Prepare exam rooms and procedure rooms.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Administer medications per written order.
• Provide educational materials to patients and families.
• Explain lab results, diagnostic testing results, and provider orders to patients and families.
• Assist with cleaning and stocking exam rooms and suites.
• Perform CLIA-waived testing.
• Perform general office duties as assigned.
