About The Position

Centerpoint Health – Georgetown Family Medicine is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to perform routine clinical and administrative duties in support of the office. The role supports compassionate, patient-centered primary care for individuals and families, working collaboratively with providers and staff to deliver care focused on prevention, wellness, and long-term health. The position is part-time, scheduled for 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required.
Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine clinical and administrative duties in support of the assigned office.
Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records.
Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and administering medications or injections.
Perform basic laboratory tasks and prepare specimens.
Maintain clean and stocked examination rooms.
Support front-office operations and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education.
