About The Position
Medical Assistants are essential members of the clinic team. They contribute to patient care by assisting with exams and procedures, organizing and managing patient flow, and taking on other responsibilities based on departmental needs. The posting also describes enhanced responsibilities for a Certified Medical Assistant III, including serving as a mentor and role model for other Medical Assistants within and outside the department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Certification or registration from one of the following organizations: American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA), American Medical Technologists (RMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA), National Health Career Association (CCMA), or National Association for Health Professionals (NRCMA).
Nice To Haves
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program or applicable military medical training.
