Part-Time Certified Indoor Lifeguard - Alamo Ranch
About The Position
Emler Swim School is hiring a part-time Certified Indoor Lifeguard to help create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment for children and families. The Lifeguard monitors swimmers, enforces pool rules, responds to emergencies, performs rescues, and provides first aid and CPR/AED when needed. The role also includes conducting safety checks, reporting hazards and maintenance needs, supporting swim instructors, educating swimmers about water safety, and keeping the pool area clean and organized. Lifeguards help maintain safety during weekend pool parties and participate in regular training and safety drills. Shifts include evenings and weekends, with opportunities to pick up additional hours.
Requirements
- Current Lifeguard, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (Red Cross or equivalent).
- Strong swimming and rescue skills.
- Ability to stay aware and act quickly in an emergency.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and calm under pressure.
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
- Must be at least 15 years old.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to maintain a safe, positive environment.
- Enforce pool rules and respond quickly to emergencies.

- Maintain constant attention to reduce risks and promote safety.
- Support swim instructors and help educate swimmers about water safety.

- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining safety oversight.
- Help keep pools safe during weekend parties hosted for families.
