About The Position

Vitality Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a full-time, field-based Certified Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate hospice care in community settings. The clinician-owned and operated organization describes its culture as supportive, positive, and team-oriented, with a focus on dignity, compassion, and human connection. The aide works alongside a Registered Nurse Case Manager to support patients with serious or terminal illness and their families.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with no mandatory weekends. Occasional overtime is available if desired. The role includes travel, with mileage reimbursement. Hospice experience is welcomed but not required.

Requirements

• Active CNA certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated approach.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Commitment to serving patients with serious or terminal illness.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Perform light housekeeping to help maintain a safe environment.
• Accurately document care and communicate updates.
• Help preserve patients’ comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
