About The Position
ComForCare is seeking a caring and compassionate Certified Home Health Aide to help clients live their best lives. Caregivers build meaningful relationships with clients and support them with personal mobility, household needs, meals, companionship, and respite for families. The role requires safely assisting clients who may need substantial physical support. Caregivers are treated with respect and dignity, receive ongoing training, have field support, and are thoughtfully matched with compatible clients. The position is with an independently owned and operated ComForCare franchisee.
Requirements
- Current Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position, including safely assisting with client movement and transfers.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a caregiver in homes or senior communities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with client transfers, repositioning, and mobility as required.
- Safely provide physical support to clients who need substantial assistance with movement.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises.
- Plan and prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Manage household needs.
- Provide companionship and respite services for families.
