About The Position
Eminence Home Care is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to support clients in their homes and help them live independent, fulfilling lives. The role provides non-medical care in accordance with individualized care plans, including assistance with daily activities, medication reminders, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility, companionship, and emotional support. Eminence Home Care’s mission is to restore client dignity and independence at home through individualized care plans, while reducing caregiver stress for family members and helping clients avoid nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Requirements
- Hold a New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide license.
- Provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical care and support to clients in accordance with their care plans.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help clients with mobility, including transferring them in and out of beds or chairs.
- Provide medication reminders as outlined in the care plan.
- Prepare and serve meals and clean up afterward.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and dusting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
