About The Position

BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington, and Waltham, Massachusetts is hiring Home Health Aides or caregivers to support clients in Concord, Lexington, Bedford, Billerica, Carlisle, Woburn, Weston, Hanscom AFB, and surrounding areas. The role offers a choice of full-time, part-time, and per-diem shifts, with flexible scheduling and pay of $18–$21 per hour depending on the shift and assignment. Aides receive 24/7 registered nurse guidance and support and provide compassionate assistance to clients and their families. The position involves helping clients with daily living, companionship, meals, light housekeeping, mobility, and transportation, while following individual care plans and reporting changes in clients’ well-being. The employer offers paid training, ongoing education, opportunities for advancement, weekly pay with direct deposit and early access to pay, mileage reimbursement, and referral bonuses.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid and verifiable Home Health Aide certificate from a reputable educational program.
Certified CPR.
Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Licensed driver with a reliable, insured automobile and proof of insurance.
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality care.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively.
Ability to push, pull, bend, lift, and kneel depending on client mobility, and to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

One year of documented caregiver or home care assistance experience.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship and emotional support, and engage clients in meaningful activities.
Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being.
Follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and comfort.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation as needed.
Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
