About The Position
ComForCare is seeking a caring and compassionate Certified Home Health Aide to help clients live their best lives. The role involves providing physical assistance, household support, meal care, companionship, and respite services while building meaningful relationships with clients. Heavy lifting is required, including safely assisting clients who need substantial physical support.
Requirements
- Current Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform essential physical duties, including heavy lifting and assisting with client movement.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a caregiver in homes or senior communities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with transfers, repositioning, mobility, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Safely assist with moving clients who require substantial physical support.
- Plan and prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Manage household needs.
- Provide companionship and respite services for clients’ families.
