About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide one-on-one care to adult and geriatric clients in senior living communities throughout Burlington and Camden Counties, New Jersey. The position is based out of the South Jersey Senior Living office. Aides help clients maintain their independence, safety, comfort, and quality of life while living in their home, working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team. Flexible scheduling, one-on-one patient care, and reliable transportation are part of the role.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in good standing.
• At least one year of work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Successful completion of the BAYADA Competency Evaluation.
• Pass a criminal background check and meet all New Jersey state requirements.
• Reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, dependable professional who enjoys working as part of a caring team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide oral feeding and medication assistance.
• Assist with safe transfers and ambulation, including use of mechanical lifts.
• Help clients perform range of motion exercises.
• Monitor vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Perform light housekeeping and home management tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Support clients' comfort, independence, and overall well-being.
