About The Position

Fox Trail Memory Care is hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide compassionate support in its boutique-style memory care homes in Mahwah, New Jersey. The role is part-time, with evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The hourly pay range is $17.00–$19.00, based on experience. Caregivers work in a small community with low resident-to-caregiver ratios and a supportive, hands-on, team-first leadership culture. Applicants may be subject to a background check. Requirements

Current New Jersey CHHA license.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to lift and support up to 75 lbs for resident transfers and mobility assistance.
At least one year of experience with caregiving duties.

Nice To Haves

Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).
Previous experience in memory care, assisted living, or senior care.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
Monitor residents’ basic health status and report changes to the Community Director.
Offer companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to residents.
Lead or assist with engaging activities and social interactions.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, comfortable home.
Safely assist with resident transfers and mobility as needed.
Support a safe, nurturing environment that meets residents’ physical and emotional needs.
