About The Position
Family & Nursing Care is hiring Certified Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one home care to older adults in Newark, NJ, and throughout Essex, Passaic, Bergen, and Union Counties. The role is suited to compassionate, dependable aides who help clients live safely and comfortably at home while supporting their quality of life, dignity, and well-being. The position pays $19 per hour. Benefits are offered subject to eligibility requirements.
Requirements
- At least one year of hands-on caregiving experience with older adults within the last three years.
- Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Current TB clearance.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English for client communication and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care to older adults in their homes.
- Communicate with clients and complete documentation in English.
- Support clients’ safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being.
