About The Position

Ennoble Care is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join its growing hospice company full-time in the Gloucester County, New Jersey region. The caregiver serves a census of 5–6 patients and provides or assists with activities of daily living, personal care, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping. The aide also assists with prescribed exercises and range-of-motion activities taught by the Hospice Nurse and reports changes in patients’ conditions to the Nurse.

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) credential.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable mode of transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Care for a census of 5–6 patients.
• Provide or assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, mouth care, skin care, and nail care.
• Assist with toileting, positioning, and transfers, including frequent turning and positioning of bed-bound patients.
• Assist with prescribed exercise and range-of-motion activities taught to the patient and aide by the Hospice Nurse.
• Perform light housekeeping in the individual's personal unit or room, including changing bed linen and doing the patient’s laundry.
• Feed patients and assist them with meals.
• Report changes in a patient's condition to the Nurse.
