About The Position
Family & Nursing Care is hiring compassionate Certified Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one care to older adults in their homes in the Hackensack, New Jersey area and across Essex, Passaic, Bergen, and Union Counties. Aides help clients live safely and comfortably at home while supporting their quality of life, dignity, and well-being. The role calls for dependable, professional caregivers who bring warmth, kindness, and compassion to their work. Pay is $19 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply to benefits.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with older adults within the last 3 years.
- Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Current TB clearance.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English for client communication and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one home care to older adult clients.
- Support clients in living safely and comfortably at home.
- Communicate with clients and complete documentation in English.
