About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care’s ACSP Division is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs/CHHAs) to provide compassionate one-on-one care in clients’ homes across Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem Counties. Care is provided according to a written plan of care and under the direction of a registered nurse. The role is intended to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are available, with flexible scheduling and efforts to match aides with clients near their homes. Training may be available for qualified candidates, including CHHA training and assistance with the New Jersey Board of Nursing application process. Interviews are available virtually or in person.
Requirements
- Be compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful.
- Be passionate about helping others and committed to providing quality care.
- Be able to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
- Be comfortable working independently with clients.
- Candidates applying for HHA/CHHA positions should have a current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
- Previous caregiving or home health experience when required for the position; previous home health or patient care experience is welcome but not always required.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care in clients’ homes according to a written plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with dressing and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and other household tasks.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises.
- Check vital signs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help clients maintain their independence at home.
