About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care’s ACSP Division is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs/CHHAs) to provide compassionate, one-on-one care in clients’ homes across Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem Counties. Care is provided according to a written plan of care and under the direction of a registered nurse. The role supports clients in remaining safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Training may be available for qualified candidates, including opportunities for people interested in becoming Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides (CHHAs). The position offers day, evening, and weekend shifts, flexible scheduling, and virtual or in-person interviews.
Requirements
- Be compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful.
- Be committed to providing quality care and passionate about helping others.
- Be able to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
- Be comfortable working independently with clients.
- Candidates applying for HHA/CHHA positions should have a current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
- Previous caregiving or home health experience may be required for some positions.
- Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcome but not always required; training may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care according to a written plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and other household tasks.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises.
- Check vital signs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help clients maintain their independence at home.
