CHHA, Certified Home Health Aide, ACSP
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care’s ACSP Division is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs/CHHAs) to serve clients in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem Counties. Aides provide compassionate, one-on-one care in clients’ homes, following a written plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse. The work supports clients in remaining safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Training may be available for qualified candidates, including opportunities and assistance with the New Jersey Board of Nursing CHHA application process. Interviews are available virtually or in person. Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome.
Requirements
- Be compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful.
- Have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing quality care.
- Be able to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
- Be comfortable working independently with clients.
- For experienced CHHA/HHA applicants, hold a current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
- Previous caregiving or home health experience may be required for some positions; previous home health or patient care experience is welcome but not always required.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care according to a written plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and other household tasks.
- Assist clients with ambulation and transfers.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises.
- Check vital signs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help clients maintain their independence at home.
