About The Position

Eminence Home Care is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide essential support and care to clients in their homes. The role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, promoting client well-being, and providing personalized attention. CHHAs help clients maintain independence and dignity while receiving care, contributing to the company's goal of delivering high-quality home care services.

Requirements

Must possess a valid CHHA certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to follow care plans and adhere to established protocols.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in home care or a healthcare environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with mobility and help clients participate in physical activities.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health status.
Prepare meals and assist clients with dietary needs.
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and pleasant environment.
Document care provided and report changes in client condition to appropriate healthcare professionals.
Follow care plans and established protocols.
