About The Position

BrightPath Kids is hiring a full-time Certified Float Teacher at its Medway, Massachusetts center. As part of the Busy Bees global childcare community, the teacher works alongside teachers and families to provide children with a home-away-from-home experience in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role supports multiple classrooms, helps mentor Teachers and Assistant Teachers, and develops engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences based on children’s interests and learning styles. The teacher also partners and communicates with families to support each child’s care and education.

Requirements

• An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or Massachusetts EEC Teacher certification is required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programs and activities in multiple classrooms.
• Mentor Teachers and Assistant Teachers within the centers.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Partner with families to create plans that provide the best care and education for their children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
