About The Position

BrightPath Kids is seeking a Certified Infant Teacher for its center in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. The teacher works side-by-side with teachers and families to provide children with a home-away-from-home experience in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role includes overseeing programs and activities across multiple classrooms, mentoring teachers and assistant teachers, developing age-appropriate curriculum, and partnering with families to support each child’s care and education. The position is full-time, with no evenings or weekends.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or Massachusetts EEC Teacher certification.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programs and activities in multiple classrooms.
• Mentor teachers and assistant teachers within the centers.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Partner with families to create plans that provide the best care and education for their children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
