About The Position

BrightPath Kids is hiring a full-time Certified Infant Teacher at its Canton, Massachusetts center. The teacher works alongside colleagues and families to provide children with a home-away-from-home experience in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role includes overseeing programs and activities across multiple classrooms, mentoring Teachers and Assistant Teachers, developing and curating developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and partnering and communicating with families about children’s care and education. The position has no evening or weekend work.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or EEC State of Massachusetts Teacher certification.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• 2 or more years of experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programs and activities in multiple classrooms.
• Mentor Teachers and Assistant Teachers within the centers.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Partner with families to create plans for children’s care and education.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
