About The Position

Bright Horizons is hiring a Child Care Teacher to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in an early education/preschool child care center. The role involves supporting children’s development and safety in accordance with Bright Horizons’ policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations. Teachers can learn from early education experts and may pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost through the Horizons CDA & Degree Program. Full-time positions are available.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education and a study plan leading to an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.
• Comply with applicable immunization, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training requirements.

Nice To Haves

• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education is strongly preferred.
• At least two years of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities that meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents and share their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in accordance with Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures, and guidance.
