About The Position

BrightPath Kids is seeking a full-time Certified Float Teacher for its Medway, Massachusetts center. The teacher works side-by-side with teachers and families to provide children with a home-away-from-home experience in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role oversees programming across multiple classrooms, supports and mentors Teachers and Assistant Teachers, and develops activities and curriculum based on children’s interests, learning styles, and developmental needs. The teacher also partners with families on care and education plans and communicates effectively with parents and guardians about their children. The position has no evening or weekend work and requires availability during regular operating hours.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or Massachusetts EEC Teacher certification required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programs and activities in multiple classrooms.
