About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is urgently hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to support seniors in Pelham, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. The family-owned home care agency helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Openings are available for experienced caregivers and people starting a caregiving career, with free training available for qualified applicants. Pay is $18–$21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The role offers flexible scheduling, including daytime and overnight shifts, weekdays and weekends, with 8–12-hour shifts available. Immediate start opportunities are available. A $250 sign-on bonus is offered to qualified new hires after their first 90 days. To qualify, employees must work at least 20 hours per week and have no unexcused absences during their first 90 days. Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus but is not always required.
- HHA or CNA certification is welcome.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
- Prepare meals and assist with daily routines.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
- Deliver compassionate, respectful, and dependable care.
