About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is hiring a Centralized Scheduler for its Dallas, Texas office. The role supports scheduling referrals for more than 100 outpatient clinics and is part of a team of 15 schedulers. This is not a remote position; employees are required to work in the office. Hours vary between Monday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., in eight-hour shifts. The position is full time. Compensation depends on experience and internal equity, with a stated minimum starting range of $19–$25 per hour based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate and relate ideas effectively with staff members, supportive personnel, management staff, third-party payers, patients, and physicians.
• Strong skills in computer equipment and software, detailed documentation, problem-solving, and customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability preferred.
• Courses in bookkeeping and accounting, or work experience in a healthcare or related setting.
• One to two years of medical billing and administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming rollover calls from clinics.
• Call referrals received from provider sources.
• Handle high call volume and return patient voicemails.
• Use EPIC, Therapy Source, and other sites to obtain and call referrals.
