About The Position

The Central Supply Staff member is responsible for keeping facility supplies stocked, organized, and ready for use. The role maintains and monitors inventory at the central supply area and nurses’ station supply points, distributes supplies, orders and receives inventory, and tracks costs and related records. Inventory and cost data are provided to the business office and/or entered into the computer.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent related work experience.
• Current and active CPR certification.
• Valid CNA license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and stock supplies at nurses’ stations and supply points.
• Distribute appropriate supplies.
• Record inventory and cost data, provide the data to the business office, and/or enter it into the computer.
• Monitor central supply levels.
• Order, receive, and restock supplies in accordance with procedures.
• Monitor costs and maintain related records.
