About The Position

The Central Supply Technician is responsible for issuing, stocking, and delivering supplies to all areas and departments. The role includes Central Supply stock replenishment, par stock replenishment, and data entry. The technician maintains supply inventory and storage, processes supplemental orders for items at critical levels, and picks supplies from inventory based on generated pick lists and department needs. The position also involves auditing inventory, maintaining a clean environment, rotating supplies, monitoring expiration dates, delivering supplies, verifying received items against packing slips, stocking Pyxis and par carts, and processing department and vendor returns and overstock.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in Central Supply or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Basic product knowledge, distribution par-level cart techniques, and warehousing procedures.
CRCST (Certified Registered Central Supply Technician) certification or medical terminology.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory of supplies and store and stock supplies.
Process supplemental orders for items at critical levels and pick supplies based on generated pick lists and department needs.
Audit and check inventory, maintain a clean environment, and rotate supplies placed in Pyxis, par carts, or department inventory.
Flag items that are soon to expire and remove items from Pyxis, par carts, or department inventory that will expire within 30 days.
Deliver supplies to all areas and departments.
Verify packing slips against items received and stock Pyxis and par carts.
Process department and vendor returns and overstock.
Perform other duties as assigned.
