About The Position

Sierra Post Acute is hiring an experienced Central Supply Clerk to manage the facility’s supplies and inventory. The role supports patient-centered care by keeping supplies organized and available for residents and staff. The clerk manages ordering and stocking central supply items, monitors inventory and item usage, identifies products and systems that could benefit the nursing staff and facility, and maintains the supply budget and relationships with outside vendors. The role may also help in other departments as needed.

Candidates must have experience in a post-acute or skilled nursing facility; a CNA license is preferred. Applicants must have at least a high school education or GED and current CPR, and must pass criminal and Colorado CAPS background checks. The position requires English reading, writing, and speaking skills, the ability to move intermittently throughout the workday, and patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition. The employer encourages teamwork and a positive work environment. The role is part-time and pays $21–$26 per hour.

Requirements

• Experience working in a post-acute or skilled nursing facility.
• At least a high school education or GED.
• Current CPR.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and Colorado CAPS background check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
• Patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition.

Responsibilities

• Manage ordering and stocking of central supply items, including briefs, over-the-counter medications, gloves, and gowns.
• Manage inventory and organize and stock the facility’s supplies.
• Communicate about and manage overuse of items.
• Identify products and systems that could benefit nursing staff and the facility.
• Help in other departments as needed.
• Maintain a budget.
• Maintain good relationships with outside vendors.
• Use a basic understanding of contracts and ordering software.
