About The Position
The Central Scheduling Specialist supports the efficient daily operations of the Central Scheduling department under the guidance of the Central Scheduling Supervisor. The role coordinates scheduling for incoming patients and COVID referrals and completes daily scheduling processes for internal and external physicians and departments. The position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday evenings.
Requirements
- Strong medical terminology.
- Previous experience in a hospital or physician office.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and time management.
- Ability to work independently within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily scheduling process for incoming patients and COVID referrals.
- Complete daily scheduling processes for internal and external physicians and departments.
- Help maintain efficient daily operations of the Central Scheduling department under the guidance of the Central Scheduling Supervisor.
