Central Fill Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
Genoa Healthcare seeks a Central Fill Pharmacy Technician to support the functions of its mental health and specialty pharmacy. The role primarily involves dispensing medical prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. The technician works with a coordinated care team to help people with complex health conditions receive the right medications and follow their treatment plans. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST. The position is located at 8902 Vincennes Circle, Suite D, Indianapolis, IN 46268. The stated hourly pay range is $16.00 to $29.00, based on full-time employment and factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Indiana.
- Ability to stand for the entire shift.
- Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
- Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
- Verify medication stock and enter data into the computer to maintain inventory records.
- Work with the Pharmacist to assist with pharmacy functions and maintain compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Perform clerical duties relating to the department.
- Communicate using strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
