About The Position

The central dispatcher will be responsible for taking care of customer needs as well as coordinating and scheduling the movement of trucks and drivers to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods. The job typically requires excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Great customer service and problem-solving skills.

• Customer service experience
• A high school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Experience in logistics or transportation a plus.

Responsibilities

• HANDLING HIGH VOLUME OF PHONE CALLS FOR ORDER TAKING AND VERIFICATION
• ACCURATELY ENTERING ORDERS FROM CUSTOMERS
• SCHEDULING LOADS EFFICIENTLY TO MAXIMIZE SERVICE THROUGH OUR VARIOUS PLANTS.
• MONITORING DRIVERS' PROGRESS AND ENSURING ON-TIME DELIVERY.
• COMMUNICATING WITH CUSTOMERS, DRIVERS, AND PRODUCTION PLANTS TO PROVIDE UPDATES AND RESOLVE ISSUES.
• MAINTAINING ACCURATE RECORDS OF DELIVERIES, DRIVER HOURS, AND OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION
• ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH RELEVANT REGULATIONS AND SAFETY STANDARDS
