This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. Responsibilities include stocking, straightening, and rotating product on shelves in the Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments. The role also involves processing incoming product from the warehouse and direct store delivery vendors, reading and understanding shelf tags, and sorting damaged product for credit. Teammates will operate a hand jack, power lift, and cardboard baler, following company safety guidelines. Maintaining the cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler, and freezer is also a key duty. The position requires maintaining company productivity standards, and other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.
